BACKGROUND

These General Conditions of Sale relate to the discipline of purchasing products and services, carried out remotely and made available, via the internet, from the www.tonellileather.com website.

PRICES

The prices shown are expressed in EURO and include VAT for the Member States of the European Union and duties and taxes for the United States, Switzerland and Norway. Tonelli Leather offers its customers the opportunity to view prices in other currencies for evaluation purposes only.

ORDERS

All payments are made in EURO and include VAT (EU Member States), duties and local taxes (United States, Switzerland and Norway).

No other amount will be due on delivery. For direct orders to non-EU countries (with the exception of the United States, Switzerland and Norway), local duties and taxes may be requested at the time of delivery.

When ordering, please check the accuracy of the data and billing and delivery addresses. In case of errors, please let us know promptly to info@tonellileather.com.

SHIPMENTS AND DELIVERIES

The times of order fulfillment depend on the availability of the items. Delivery times depend exclusively on the type of shipment chosen by the customer, on the times declared by the carrier and on any customs inspections.

The customer is required to verify that the products received correspond to those of the order placed. If the delivered products have defects, the customer must contact Tonelli Leather no later than 48 hours after delivery, by sending an email with photos of the defects found to the following email address: info@tonellileather.com.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Pursuant to art. 52 of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005 n. 206 (“Consumer Code”), you have the right to withdraw from the contract signed with the Seller without any penalty and without having to provide any reason, within fourteen (14) days from the day you received the products purchased on tonellileather.com. Tonelli Leather guarantees 100% reimbursement, except for any local duties and taxes. Tonelli Leather ensures the right of withdrawal from the purchase no later than 30 days from the delivery date. The refund will be made no later than 10 days from the receipt of the returned goods. The right of withdrawal is not subject to:

  • customized products
  • products purchased by individuals for professional purposes

All products without a label or with a label removed, used or incomplete will not be refunded. The customer in possession of an account must make the return request from the appropriate section within their personal area. The customer who has expressly renounced to create an account must communicate his intention to withdraw from the purchase by registered mail to the address: Tonelli Leather Via Giulio della Torre, 48 19126 La Spezia (ITALY) possibly followed by an email to address info@tonellileather.com.

Tonelli Leather reserves the right to refuse unauthorized returns and return them to the sender. The possible acceptance of these returns still involves a charge of up to 20% of the value of the returned goods or the issue of the refund in the form of a store credit.

In case of a free return, Tonelli Leather will provide the prepaid label. If a different label is used, the return shipping cost will not be refunded. Only one prepaid label is provided for each order. For all other cases, the return is paid by the customer who is fully responsible for it. For this Tonelli Leather recommends using a traceable shipping system.

WARRANTY AND COMPLIANCE

All Tonelli Leather products are guaranteed for 24 months from the delivery date. In case of problems, the customer agrees to contact Tonelli Leather directly by sending an email with a photographic description of the problem to the following address: info@tonellileather.com.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, accident, abuse or normal loss of color and wear of materials.
Damage to baggage caused by handling by airlines is not covered by this warranty; in this case requests should be addressed directly to the airline.
Tonelli Leather reserves the right to charge the customer for any costs incurred for the verification of the product and for the shipment of the same, if it is intact and functional or without the lack of conformity claimed and referable to the date of delivery.
The images and colors of the articles on the site may not fully correspond to the actual colors due to the type of computer screen or browser used for navigation.

APPLICABLE LAW

The purchase contract between the customer and Tonelli Leather is to be considered concluded in Italy and therefore is governed by Italian law and by EU legislation governing distance purchases. In case of any dispute, the competent forum will be the La Spezia  forum.
